What is a QR code attendance register, and how does it work for meetings, trainings and classes?
A QR attendance register is one QR code that participants scan to check in and sign from their phone; Sealique exports the list as CSV and a PAdES-sealed PDF.
This is the product page for attendance in Sealique. One event holds the register for a meeting, a multi-day training, a conference or a class: a printable QR poster, a check-in form with the fields you choose, per-day opening windows, the live list, exports, and a sealed PDF that anyone can verify. Organisers need only an account, no card and no trial clock, and participants never install anything.

Key facts
- Participants check in by pointing the phone camera at one QR code; the form opens in the browser with no app and no account.
- Attendance accepts check-ins only inside each day's opening window; organisers can close a day early or re-open it until a chosen time.
- Each check-in records the time, the fields you chose and, when the field is on, a drawn or typed signature.
- The list downloads as CSV (opens in Excel) and as an attendance sheet PDF sealed with a PAdES digital signature; reports can be shared with participants, an organisation or chosen people.
- Participants who leave an e-mail get an account automatically and see the events they attended under Events attended.
How does scan-to-sign check-in work?
The organiser creates the event in one step (title, date, time, type) or through the builder with custom fields, logos and a schedule per day. The event page offers a printable QR poster and a share link, also by WhatsApp. A participant scans the poster, fills the fields, signs with a finger or types a signature, and is on the list immediately. One code serves the whole event, each day inside its own window.
What are per-day windows?
Every event day has an opening time and a closing time; outside them the link politely refuses check-ins, so nobody signs in the day after. The organiser can close a day early, re-open it until a time for latecomers, or extend the whole link until a date and time. A new link and QR code can be issued at any moment, with a lifetime of 5 minutes to 24 hours, which invalidates the previous one.
What are guest reports and sealed registers?
From the event page the organiser generates the attendance sheet PDF: it lists every participant with their fields, check-in time and signature, and is sealed with a PAdES digital signature at generation, so anyone can upload it on the verification page to confirm it was not altered. An approver outside the platform can sign off on a report through a guest link; a verified account is created for them automatically so they are recognised next time. Reports are shared with participants, an organisation or named people.
Which exports exist?
CSV of the attendance list, which opens directly in Excel and follows the columns and custom fields of your form; the sealed attendance sheet PDF with logos chosen in the export dialog; and the minutes of the meeting as PDF when you wrote them in the event's Minutes tab.
Who uses the QR register?
Trainers reporting to funders, conference organisers with hundreds of walk-ins, schools and universities taking class attendance, district offices and ministries recording meetings, cooperatives and associations holding assemblies, and companies that need a signed register for audits.

Questions people ask
Does the QR attendance register cost anything?
No. Creating events and collecting check-ins is included with a Sealique account, with no card and no trial clock; participants need no account.
Can participants check in without internet on their phone?
No. The form opens in the browser, so a data connection is needed, but it is a light page that works on 2G or 3G.
Can one QR code serve a three-day training?
Yes. One code serves every day inside that day's opening window; the list shows each day's check-ins.
How do I stop people from checking in after the meeting?
Attendance closes automatically at the day's closing time; late entries are accepted only if you re-open the link until a time you choose.
Can the register be verified by an auditor?
Yes. The attendance sheet PDF is sealed with a PAdES digital signature; uploading it on the verification page shows whether it was altered.
Does Sealique also handle the minutes of the meeting?
Yes. The event's Minutes tab holds a shared editor with mentions and versions, and the final minutes can be sent for signature.
