How do I convert a PowerPoint presentation to PDF online?

Upload the PPTX, PPT or ODP file to Sealique: each slide becomes one PDF page on the server, and the PDF is ready to sign with a digital signature.

A board pack, a training deck, a proposal: a PDF of the slides opens on every phone, cannot be edited by accident and can carry a verifiable signature. The tool converts the deck on the server and keeps the PDF in your library for the next step.

Key facts

  • PowerPoint to PDF on Sealique accepts PPTX, PPT and ODP files and is included with a Sealique account, with no watermark.
  • Each slide becomes one PDF page in the slide's own size and orientation; the conversion runs on the server with LibreOffice.
  • The PDF lands in your private library, where it can be merged with other files, protected with a password or signed.
  • Files of up to 50 MB are accepted; large decks are converted in the background.
  • Speaker notes and animations are not printed: the PDF shows each slide as it looks when fully displayed.

How are the slides rendered?

LibreOffice Impress opens the deck in a headless session on Sealique servers and exports it to PDF: text boxes, charts, pictures and backgrounds are drawn as they appear on screen, fonts installed on the server are embedded and others are substituted by fonts with the same metrics. Transitions and animations do not exist in PDF, so each slide is printed in its fully displayed state.

Why convert a deck to PDF before sharing it?

A PDF opens on any phone without the presentation software, keeps the layout exactly and can be sealed with a PAdES digital signature, so an approved version of a proposal or a training manual can be verified online by its verification ID or QR code.

Questions people ask

Does every slide become one page?

Yes. The PDF has one page per slide, in the slide's own size (16:9 or 4:3) and orientation, rendered with LibreOffice on the server.

Hidden slides are skipped, as when the deck is printed.

Are animations and speaker notes kept?

No. Animations cannot exist in a PDF, so each slide is printed in its final state; speaker notes are not included.

If the notes matter, export them from the presentation software first and merge the two PDFs with Merge PDF.

Does the tool cost anything?

No. It is included with a Sealique account: no card, no watermark, no daily limit.

Signing in is needed because the PDF is stored in your private library.

Can I compress the PDF afterwards?

Yes. Image-heavy decks produce large PDFs; run Compress PDF on the result to shrink the pictures before e-mailing it.

Compression keeps a copy, so the full-quality PDF stays in your library.

Why does the page say a server component is missing?

The conversion needs LibreOffice on the server; when it is absent the page says so and the administrator can install it.
