How do I send a PDF to several people for signature and track who has signed?
Upload the PDF to Sealique, place a field per signer, enter their e-mails and send: signers sign from the link, in order or at once, then PAdES seals the PDF.
This is the Documents workspace of Sealique: the place for contracts, agreements and approval letters that other people must sign. You prepare the document once, send it, and Sealique handles the invitations, the reminders, the order, the consent and the final PAdES seal. Signers need no account and can sign from any phone.

Key facts
- Fields: signature, initials, text, date and checkbox, dragged onto any page and assigned to a signer; fields can be prefilled.
- Signing order is parallel (everyone at once) or sequential (one after another); Sealique invites the next signer automatically.
- An optional one-time code sent to the signer's e-mail must be entered before signing, when the document requires it.
- The tracking page shows each signer as invited, opened, signed or declined, with reminders, comments and a full history.
- Finalising seals the PDF with a platform certification signature and one PAdES signature per signer; every block carries the verification ID and a QR code, and the certificate is a separate download.
How do I prepare the document?
Upload a PDF, or start from one you edited, split or merged in the PDF tools. In the prepare workspace you add the signers (name, e-mail and, if you like, their title and organisation, printed in the signature block), then drag fields onto the pages: signature, initials, text, date and checkbox. Each field belongs to one signer; text and date fields can be prefilled.
What do signers see?
Each signer receives an e-mail with a personal link. The signing page shows the document page by page with tappable fields and a Next field button; the signature is drawn, typed, uploaded as a photo or taken from a saved one. Before finishing, the signer agrees to the consent statements (intent to sign, electronic records) and, if the document requires it, enters the one-time code sent to their e-mail.
A signer can also stamp a per-page mark with their symbol and a QR code, so printed pages can be checked individually, or decline with a reason. After signing, the link keeps working and shows where they signed.
How do I follow the progress?
The document page lists every signer with a status: pending, invited, opened, signed or declined. You send reminders (in sequential order, only to the signer whose turn it is), read and answer comments, see the history of every action, and cancel the request if needed. In-app notifications and e-mails tell you when someone signs.
What happens at the end?
When the last signature arrives, the document is finalised automatically if you asked for it, or when you press Finalise. Sealique renders every signature block with the signer's name, the time, the verification ID and a QR code, applies its own certification seal and one PAdES signature per signer, and stores a hash-chained audit trail. The sealed PDF and the certificate are downloads for the holders; anyone can verify the file by code, QR or upload.
The same flow is available to other systems through the API: one request creates the document and returns a signing link per signer, and webhooks report every step.

Questions people ask
Do the people I invite need a Sealique account?
No. Signers open the link from the e-mail and sign on any phone or computer; an account is never required to sign.
Can signers sign one after another?
Yes. Choose sequential order when sending; each signer is invited after the previous one has signed, and reminders respect the order.
Can I add initials or a date field?
Yes. The Documents workspace offers signature, initials, text, date and checkbox fields on any page, each assigned to a signer.
What if a signer declines?
The document is marked declined with the reason; you can fix it and send a new one. Nothing is sealed until everyone has signed.
How do I know a signature is genuine?
Each sealed PDF carries a PAdES signature per signer, a verification ID and a QR code; anyone can check it on the verification page.
Can I require a one-time code before signing?
Yes. Switch on the e-mail code for the document; each signer must type the code sent to their address before the signature is accepted.
Does it cost anything?
No. Sending documents for signature is included with a Sealique account: no card, no watermark, no limit on documents or signers.
