How is the watermark drawn?
The text or image is rendered on an overlay the size of each selected page, rotated to the angle you set and blended with the transparency you chose, then merged onto the page on Sealique servers. In tiled mode the overlay repeats the mark in a grid so it covers the whole page; in centred mode it sits once across the middle.
Watermark, stamp or protection?
A watermark labels every page; a stamp (APPROVED, a signature picture) marks one spot, and both are in the PDF editor. To stop copying or printing, use Protect PDF; to prove the document was not altered, add a PAdES digital signature with a verification ID and QR code.
