How do I schedule a recurring meeting series with its own attendance register for every occurrence?

A recurring series in Sealique generates one event per occurrence, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly, each with its own QR code attendance register, minutes and reports.

Last reviewed 13 October 2026 · Sealique

Weekly staff meetings, monthly board meetings, a training every Tuesday and Thursday: a recurring series in Sealique describes the rhythm once, and every occurrence becomes a normal event with its QR code, its participants, its minutes and its sealed attendance sheet. Nothing is copied by hand, and past meetings never change when the series does.

Key facts

  • Frequencies: daily, weekly on chosen weekdays, bi-weekly, monthly on a date or an ordinal weekday such as the third Friday, or every N days, weeks or months.
  • A series ends never, on a date or after a number of occurrences; the form shows a plain-language summary and the next dates before you save.
  • Each occurrence is an independent event with its own QR code, attendance list, minutes, reports and history; changing the series touches only future occurrences.
  • One occurrence can be skipped without breaking the series, for a public holiday or a cancelled week.
  • The series exports as an .ics file for Outlook, Google Calendar and phones, and the month and agenda calendar shows every occurrence.

How is a recurring series defined?

A series has a title, a type, a location, a time and a rhythm: daily, weekly with weekday chips (Monday and Wednesday, for example), bi-weekly, monthly on a day of the month or on an ordinal weekday (first Monday, third Friday, last Thursday), or a custom interval of N days, weeks or months. It ends never, on a date, or after N occurrences.

While you type, a sentence summarises the rhythm in plain language and the next dates are listed, so a wrong weekday or a wrong month is visible before anything is created.

What does each occurrence get?

Every occurrence is a full event: a printable QR poster and link, the check-in form with your fields and branding, per-day opening windows, the live participant list, CSV export, the sealed attendance sheet PDF, the Minutes tab and the reports. Occurrences keep their own immutable history, so a series edit never rewrites a meeting that already happened.

How do I change or skip occurrences?

Skip one occurrence for a holiday: the series continues and the exception is recorded. Edit the series to change the time, the weekday or the end: future occurrences follow the new rule, past ones stay as they were. Occurrences are generated from the series as the dates approach, and you can generate the next ones in advance.

Where do I see the schedule?

The calendar shows every event and occurrence by month or as an agenda, with a JSON feed behind it. The series page offers an .ics download that Outlook, Google Calendar, Apple Calendar and phones import, so colleagues see the meetings next to their other appointments.
