Receipts photographed with a phone, scanned pages, chat screenshots or a slide exported as images all become a single PDF that is easy to send, sign or file. The tool is public, so nobody needs an account, and the result is only kept for signed-in users who leave Save to my documents ticked.

Key facts

  • Image to PDF is a browser tool that needs no account and no card: open the page, drop the pictures, download the PDF.
  • PNG, JPG and WebP pictures become pages in the order you choose, on A4 or Letter.
  • A tall picture, such as a long screenshot, can be cut into several pages automatically.
  • Several pictures can be arranged on one page, two to six per page.
  • Signed-in users can save the PDF to their library and sign it right away.

Image to PDF, step by step

  1. Open Image to PDF and add pictures

Go to the Image to PDF tool, no sign-in needed, and drop up to 30 PNG, JPG or WebP files at once, tap the drop zone to browse your phone or computer, or paste a screenshot from the clipboard.

  2. Put the pictures in order

Thumbnails appear in the browser. Drag them into the order you want, use the arrows, rotate a sideways scan or remove a picture you added by mistake.

  3. Choose page size, orientation and margins

Pick A4, Letter or a page that fits each picture. With A4 or Letter you can also choose auto, portrait or landscape orientation; none, small or normal margins apply to every page size.

  4. Cut tall pictures or arrange several per page

With A4 or Letter in One picture per page mode, set Split tall pictures to Auto or Fixed: Auto cuts long screenshots and multi-page scans into page-shaped bands. To place several pictures on one page instead, switch to Arrange pictures on pages.

  5. Build and download the PDF

Press Make the PDF. The pictures are sent over an encrypted connection, the PDF is assembled and downloaded straight away. For signed-in users, Save to my documents is ticked by default, so the PDF opens in your documents instead; untick it to download only.

Image to PDF needs no account; nothing is shared with third parties.

Questions people ask

Where do my pictures go when I convert them to a PDF?

The pictures go over an encrypted connection to build the PDF, which is returned to you; it is kept only when a signed-in user leaves Save to my documents ticked.

Ordering, rotating and arranging happen in the browser before anything is sent. Public use needs no account and nothing is stored. For signed-in users the Save box is ticked by default and can be unticked; a saved PDF appears only in that person's library.

Does converting images to PDF cost anything?

No. The Image to PDF tool is public, so you can use it without creating an account; an account only adds the option to keep the result, no card needed.

Which image formats can I convert, and is there a size limit?

PNG, JPG and WebP are accepted, up to 30 pictures per PDF and up to 20 MB per picture.

Other formats such as HEIC are not accepted by the picker, so export them as JPG or PNG first. A tall picture can be cut into at most 12 pages. A PDF you keep with Save to my documents must also fit the usual document size limit, so a batch of very large photos may need to be split into two PDFs.

Can I turn a long screenshot into several PDF pages?

Yes. Paste or drop a screenshot, set Split tall pictures to Auto and anything much taller than the page is cut into page-shaped bands, or pick a fixed page count.

Cutting is available with A4 or Letter in One picture per page mode. Dashed lines in the preview show roughly where the cuts will fall; the exact count can differ slightly in the finished PDF because margins are taken into account, so switch page size or orientation if a cut lands badly.

Can I make a PDF from photos on my phone?

Yes. Open the tool in your phone browser, tap the drop zone to pick photos from your camera roll, order them and download the PDF.

Everything, including ordering, rotating and the preview, works in the phone browser. Signed-in users can also install Sealique as an app from the browser menu and open the converter from the PDF tools hub.

Can I sign or split the PDF after converting it?

Yes. Sign in and leave Save to my documents ticked, as it is by default: the PDF lands in your documents, ready to split, merge or sign.

The saved copy can be signed with a PAdES digital signature and picked straight from your documents in the split and merge tools. Public use without an account still gives you the download, and a downloaded PDF can be uploaded to the signing, split or merge tools later.
