How do I turn a web page or an HTML file into a PDF?

Enter a public web address, paste HTML or upload an HTML file: Sealique renders it to PDF on the server, ready in your library for a digital signature.

Terms of service, an online invoice, a published article, a form you built in HTML: a PDF keeps a dated copy that can be filed, merged with other documents or sealed with a verifiable signature. The tool fetches or receives the HTML and renders it on the server.

Key facts

  • HTML to PDF on Sealique takes a public web address, pasted HTML or an uploaded HTML file of up to 2 MB.
  • The page is rendered on the server with print styles, in A4 or Letter, portrait or landscape; the PDF is saved in your private library.
  • Only public addresses are fetched: private networks and local hosts are refused, and at most 5 MB is downloaded per page.
  • Pages behind a login are not reachable: save their HTML and upload it, or print them to PDF from the browser.
  • The result is a normal PDF that can be edited, merged, compressed or signed with a PAdES digital signature.

How is the page rendered?

The HTML is laid out on Sealique servers by a print renderer that follows CSS the way a browser's print dialog does: print stylesheets apply, page breaks are honoured, and images, fonts and stylesheets linked from public hosts are fetched within a size budget. JavaScript is not run, so what the PDF shows is the page as delivered by the server.

Why save a web page as a PDF?

A PDF is a dated, self-contained copy: terms you accepted, a price list, an online receipt. In your library it can be merged with a contract, numbered, compressed and sealed with a PAdES digital signature that anyone can verify online by its verification ID or QR code.

  2. Give it the page

Enter a public web address, paste the HTML or upload an .html file (up to 2 MB). Pick the page size and orientation.

HTML to PDF is included with a Sealique account; the processing happens in your browser and on our servers, nothing is shared with third parties.

Questions people ask

Does it work with pages that need a login?

No. The server fetches the address as an anonymous visitor, so pages that require signing in return their login page; save the HTML and upload it instead.

The browser's own Print to PDF is another option for such pages; the PDF can then be uploaded to your library.

Are images and styles included?

Yes. Stylesheets and images referenced by the page are fetched from public hosts and rendered; print stylesheets take precedence, as when printing.

Scripts are not executed: content that only appears after JavaScript runs is not in the PDF.

Which addresses are refused?

Private and local addresses (localhost, 10.x, 192.168.x and similar) are refused for security, and a download stops after 5 MB.

Redirects are followed up to three times and each target is checked again.

Can I choose the page size?

Yes. A4 or Letter, portrait or landscape, with standard margins; the page's own @page rules are respected where present.

Does the tool cost anything?

No. It is included with a Sealique account: no card, no watermark, no daily limit.
