Open standard
Our signatures work in Adobe, Foxit and every PAdES viewer.
Each sealed PDF carries one PAdES signature per signer, issued by the Sealique Root CA. Add that certificate to your PDF viewer once and every Sealique signature shows as valid — any change after sealing shows as broken.
- Adobe Acrobat / ReaderMenu → Preferences → Signatures → Identities & Trusted Certificates → More. Under Trusted Certificates choose Import, pick the downloaded file and tick Use this certificate as a trusted root and Certified documents. Reopen the PDF: the signature panel turns green.
- Foxit PDF ReaderFile → Preferences → Trust Manager → Manage Trusted Certificates → Add, then select the Root CA and allow it for signing.
- Phones, browsers, PreviewBuilt-in viewers show the signature but cannot judge it. Scan the QR inside any signature block, or type the verification ID on our verification page — no install needed.
- What is checkedThe signer's certificate chain, that the file is byte-for-byte the sealed one, and the signing time. The certificate of completion with the full audit trail is a separate download next to each document.
